Howdy folks, something has been bugging me…that’s financing. I know, big whoop, that’s bugging everybody right now. The lending laws are so tight these days, that it’s almost impossible to get a loan without 20% down. Commercial? I think you have to bring your own hoops to jump through. My Dad tells me stories about back in the late 70s and early 80s they’d have some really crazy creative financing, wraps, stacks, and buy downs…it can get real complicated real quick. I think (and hope a bit too) that maybe we’ll get back into some owner financing, I mean, when you get right down to it, with a good down, and perhaps a 5 year balloon, everybody ends up happy. As long as I’ve been selling real estate, rainy days have always been the slowest. Now if you do any property management, you know that the first really rainy couple of days in a year means leaky roofs, but other than that, it’s just kinda dead. Not so when it snows though, that somehow invigorates people…at least here in the desert. Well, we’ll see I suppose, maybe it will get sunny soon, you know what they say around here, “If you don’t like the weather, wait 5 minutes”

Well, just figured out that it takes about 72 hours before tumblr will actually recognize my domain…so right now we’re on paryb.tumblr.com
So, I’m thinking about taking down my old website, and making a daily real estate blog using my domain alamogordorealtor.com using Tumblr. Am I crazy?
